Understanding Our Dual Mission

Networking with Africans in the Diaspora to Develop Africa.

Who it refers to:

We partner with Africans who were born in Africa but now live abroad — in the diaspora (e.g., Nigerians living in the UK, Ghanaians in the US, Kenyans in Germany, etc.).

What it means:

Building professional, cultural, and developmental networks and collaborations with these individuals to contribute to Africa’s growth.

Encouraging them to invest, support humanitarian efforts, promote good governance, and contribute their skills back to the continent.

Key Focus:

  • Mobilizing the brain drain into brain gain.
  • Tapping into remittances, technical skills, businesses, and political influence of Africans abroad.

Networking with African Descendants in Diaspora to Develop Africa

Who it refers to:

We partner with people of African heritage who may not have been born in Africa or whose ancestors were taken during slavery — such as:

  • African Americans
  • Afro-Caribbeans
  • Afro-Latinos
  • Descendants of Africans in Europe, South America, and the wider global diaspora.

What it means:

Creating pathways for reconnection, cultural exchange, investment, and partnerships with African descendants who wish to re-engage with the continent.

This can include:

  • Dual citizenship programs
  •  Diaspora tourism
  •  Cultural and business collaborations
  •  Pan-African solidarity movements.

Key Focus:

  • Rebuilding the Pan-African identity and unity.
  • Empowering African descendants to reconnect with their roots and participate in Africa’s development through history, culture, economy, and diplomacy.
